Research Interests

Dr. Uzuner’s research has been on modeling and optimization of bioprocessing, production of value-added products such as enzyme, food waste management and food informatics. Recent research efforts have focused on innovative food technologies (high hydrostatic pressure, pulsed electric field, ozone, UV light and ultrasound) for extraction of value-added compounds to develop new food products.
