Our undergraduate students, Ada Ata and Hazal Aratemir, have won the first prize in the competition titled “Hacking Food Waste,” organized by the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) – The Sustainable Food Systems Division and The Fruit & Vegetable Product Division, with their project on utilizing okara waste in the formulation of vegan nuggets.
