BIO Türkiye International Biotechnology Congress, 2023 Poster Award

Our doctoral student in the Industrial Biotechnology program, Aslıhan KAMBER, under the supervision of Professor Dr. H. Şebnem HARSA from the Department of Food Engineering, has received the Second Prize at the 2023 BIO Turkey International Biotechnology Congress, which took place from September 28th to 30th at the Ottoman Archives Complex in Istanbul, organized under the theme ‘Biotechnology Ecosystem for Sustainable Living’. This recognition was awarded for her poster presentation titled ‘Triggering Akkermansia Growth with Lactic Acid Bacteria in the Simulated Gut System,’ which was part of her master’s thesis work on Food Engineering, supported by the TÜBİTAK-1002 SBAG group.
