Our Department’s Undergraduate Program students Ada Ata, Remziye Doğru, İlayda Engin, Hayrunnisa Karataş and our Research Assistant Miray Büyük, as a team named “HighFig”, are working with the contribution and support of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yemenicioğlu, participated in the International Food Factory-4-US competition jointly organized by ISEKI-Food Association and FairChain Horizon project and were selected in the top 8 in the first stage. At the end of the 2-month process of various workshops and tasks, our students presented the project they developed as a result of their diligent work at the e-conference held on April 23, 2024, and were entitled to receive the first prize in the competition named “Food Factory-4-US: International student competition game”.
